If you enjoy it, share it with your friends.

Let's do this 🤙

HIKING

Backpacking Washington

Photo: Tristan Schuler

If Washington would have a state sport it would be hiking. And, it's easy to see why. This state is packed with trails to mountain tops and lakes that take you from forests to tidal zones.

Watch this: Backpacking Washington. It's a collection of clips from some of the state's best hiking areas like Olympic N.P, North Cascades, Mount Rainier, and Mt. Baker Wilderness area.

DIVING

Scuba Diving Trip to Socorro

Some divers will try to tell you that looking for big animals is a newbie's game and that real divers appreciate the small critters.

We get the point of the search for the weird and unusual but it's kinda hard to lock eyes with a tiny sea slug.

For us, nothing beats coming face to face with an ocean giant.

When it comes to having these encounters, our favorite place is the Revillagigedo Archipelago (aka Socorro).

In the deep blue pacific waters, you’ll find tons of sharks, playful dolphins, and giant manta rays. Whale sharks, orcas, and whales are also known to turn up from time to time.

Watch this: Get a glimpse of the big fish action here, The Spirit of Socorro.

TOGETHER WITH VISIT GREENLAND

Paddling Amongst Icebergs and Whales

Photo: Visit Greenland

Greenland might be the birthplace of the kayak but that doesn't mean it's the only way to get out on the water.

Gliding along on a Stand Up paddle board is an excellent way to soak in the stunning Arctic nature.

Imagine listening to the cracks of a rolling iceberg while having a whale breach in front of you. Your board gently touches the fjord's ice and you feel the mist of a massive waterfall.

Plan your adventure: Here's all you need to know about SUPing in Greenland.

Sailing to Papua New Guinea

Photo: Sailing Nahoa

Ever wonder what it would be like to sail deep into the South Pacific?

Imagine arriving to a far off island inhabited by people who hardly see any foreigners.

If you've never ventured too far from home, you might have a hard time believing there are places without supermarkets or wifi signal. But, there are still wild places in this world, Papua New Guinea is one of them.

Watch this: Sailing Nahoa: Papua New Guinea. Watch to the end to see the crew launch their kites and cruise the crystal clear waters.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"The world is like a reverse casino. In a casino, if you gamble long enough, you're certainly going to lose. But in the real world, where the only thing you're gambling is, say, your time or your embarrassment, then the more stuff you do, the more you give luck a chance to find you."
