ADVENTURE TRAVEL
Hiking in Mount Kenya National Park
Photo: Milosh Kitchovitch
Mt. Kenya is Africa’s second highest mountain and one of its most beautiful. In this video, Milosh Kitchovitch @ Amazing Places on Our Planet takes us on a four day hike to Point Lenana, the third highest peak (4,985 m/16,355 ft).
It’s the highest point on the mountain that can be reached by trekkers, without technical climbing.
The 4K footage is stunning and there’s no narration or selfie shots so you can digitally immerse yourself in the hiking experience.
SCUBA INSPIRATION
What is Black Water Diving?
Jeff @ Triton’s Realm takes us on a blackwater scuba diving adventure in West Palm Beach, Florida. If you’ve never heard of blackwater diving before it’s all about discovering the tiny almost microscopic sea life that seeks refuge in the deep during the daytime but migrates up at night to feed.
There is so much to see when you train your eye. This includes larva and juvenile stages of a lot of the reef fish and deep-sea creatures that spend their entire life in the open water.
Creatures like the comb jellyfish have hairlike structures they use for swimming called cilia, and when the camera lights hit the cilia it dances like a rainbow How cool is that?
