UNIQUE EXPERIENCES
Cave Snorkeling in Niue
The island of Niue is one of the world’s smallest countries, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for with mind-blowing underwater landscapes.
Thanks to its dramatic limestone coastline, Niue is full of sea caves, chasms, and natural pools that you can snorkel right into, no boat required.
Avaiki Cave is one of the island’s most popular spots. Accessible only at low tide, this hidden gem feels like stepping into an underwater cathedral. The turquoise waters and vibrant coral make for an epic snorkel.
For a laid-back experience, head to the Matapa Chasm. This protected channel is perfect for snorkeling with its calm waters, making it ideal for both beginners and those looking to relax while swimming alongside colorful reef fish.
The cliffs that surround the chasm provide a stunning backdrop, making it as much about the scenery as it is about the marine life.
If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, Niue has several spots that require a little more effort to reach, like Talava Arches. After a short hike, you’ll arrive at a natural rock formation that leads to a channel filled with coral and marine life.
Time your visit with low tide for the best experience as you snorkel through the narrow swim-throughs and arches.
And then there’s Limu Pools.
This is where Niue’s snorkeling really shines. The pools are shallow, protected, and teeming with marine life. If you’re a beginner, this is your spot.
The crystal-clear water offers incredible visibility, and you’ll find yourself drifting through natural arches and swimming with fish.
Niue’s sea caves are the ultimate playground for snorkelers looking for something a little different. No boat tours, no crowds—just you, the water, and a world of marine life waiting to be discovered.

NATIONAL PARKS
Amboró National Park
There are places in the world that feel like they’re holding secrets. Bolivia’s Amboró National Park is one of them.
Set at the crossroads of the Amazon, the Andes, and the Chaco, Amboró’s biodiversity is off the charts.
One minute you’re ducking beneath giant tree ferns straight out of the set of Jurassic Park, the next you’re scanning the canopy for bursts of color—macaws, toucans, and maybe, if you’re lucky, a rare horned curassow.
Jaguars and spectacled bears still roam these forests, reminders that you’re deep inside one of South America’s last true wildernesses.
The southern side of the park is the easier way in, with eco-lodges, local guides, and trails that lead to waterfalls and wide-open views.
The north? That’s for those chasing something wilder—fewer people, tougher trails, and the kind of silence that hums in your bones.
Amboró isn’t flashy. No crowds. No glamping. Just raw, breathing forest.
This isn’t a park you see—it’s one you feel.
The air is thick and alive, scented with moss and rain-soaked earth. If your idea of a national park leans more wild frontier than manicured overlook, this one belongs at the top of your list.

FILMS
The White Shark Whisperer

Photo: South Australia
This short doc features the living legend, Rodney Fox—he survived a brutal great white attack decades ago, and instead of swearing off the ocean forever, he became the sharks’ biggest fan.
Rodney needed to decide for himself if they were "man-eating monsters". So, in 1964, he got back into the water behind the safety of the impenetrable steel bars of the world's first shark cage, which he designed and built himself.
The footage in this film shows the beauty of these animals. They move with this calm, powerful grace—no thrashing, no chaos. Just smooth, silent confidence. And when they lock eyes with you, it’s not aggression—it’s curiosity.
P.S. If you’re looking to see these incredible sharks close up, our Great White Shark Diving Expedition delivers in every way. Not only will you dive with great whites in their natural habitat, but you'll also have the chance to meet Rodney Fox himself.
