Off the northern end of Baffin Island, you’ll find Bylot Island in Nunavut Territory, Canada. It’s a place that beckons adventurers with its rugged beauty and untouched wilderness.

Bylot Island is part of Sirmilik National Park, the fourth largest in Canada but one of the least visited. Much of the island has never been explored and there are no permanent settlements on this arctic island although Inuit regularly travel here to hunt.

Some of the best hiking in the Arctic can be found here. Ice-capped towering mountains, lush tundra valleys, glaciers, and peculiar formations of eroded rock known as "hoodoos" provide a tapestry of terrain waiting to be explored.

Another great adventure opportunity Bylot Island offers is journeying to the floe edge by snowmobile to observe wildlife such as narwhals, polar bears, and seals.
